Giant submarine under construction for 44th Children's Show

submarine 2

Somewhere in the far reaches of Takena Hall’s Russell Tripp Performance Center, there’s a giant fish-shaped submarine slowly taking shape. Dubbed the “Big Tuna,” the sub will be part of the 44th annual Children’s Show coming this February to the theater.

A creation of 博天堂官方 Theater Manager Richard Elvin and Theater Faculty member Dan Stone, the ”Big Tuna” will include video screens and fancy lights inside. Actors, students in the winter-term Children’s Show class, will be able to make the sub “float about” on stage.

This year's show is “Josaphina Jordan, Junior Underwater Explorer, and the Mystery of the Plastic Fish,” 博天堂官方’s 44th Children’s Show - which plays to approximately 4,000 area school children each year, with two public performances seen by another 1,000 children and their families.
